DocsCorp announced today its partnership with LexisNexis Visualfiles in the UK to jointly develop an innovative Document Bundling solution for the legal profession. LexisNexis is the leading provider of case and matter management systems for the legal profession.

This collaboration will deliver a unique solution that will allow legal professionals and administrators to automate their court bundle production process, to benefit from significant time and cost savings, and enhance the quality of their court bundles. The LexisNexis Document Bundling module is being expressly created to help legal practices within local authorities and private legal firms overcome the frustration of manually importing and collating large volumes of case-relevant documentation into bundles and then formatting and indexing them for electronic presentation and printing.

This solution will be a truly distinctive offering. It will work both as a standalone solution and be easily integrated with Visualfiles. In addition, the solution will incorporate advanced PDF creation functionality that will allow users to create PDFs from any application, combine multiple documents into a single PDF, markup PDFs with drawings and annotations and redact sensitive information, to name just a few features.

Edouard Tavernier, VP Strategy and Workflow Solutions, LexisNexis Visualfiles, commented, "The production of court bundles is a very real business issue. Not only is it time-intensive given the copious amount of paperwork that is generated to demonstrate evidence, but there are strict compliance directives on how this documentation is produced. This solution, underpinned by our in-depth understanding of legal processes and DocsCorp's exceptional expertise in providing PDF solutions, will enable legal professionals to prepare these bundles within minutes, as opposed to hours and days. Yet again, through this solution, we will demonstrate our ability to extend the scope of Visualfiles, to help facilitate business efficiencies.

"We are looking forward to working with DocsCorp. Their grasp of business issues in the legal sector, the quality of their software and their speed and responsiveness makes them an ideal partner for this solution and potentially many more in the future."

David Woolstencroft, DocsCorp Managing Director, added, "This Document Bundling module will represent  the coming together of two robust and unique technologies to provide a genuinely innovative and affordable solution that will deliver quantifiable business benefits to customers. As strategic partners, we are guided by the same business principles of innovation and customer service, whilst our product sets complement each other perfectly. We look forward to a strengthened and continued partnership with LexisNexis."

The LexisNexis Document Bundling module will deliver efficiency gains, not just by automating the labour-intensive bundling process, but also by reducing associated costs of printing, paper and storage.
